Wayaffe and Pohle win a challenging Challenge Barcelona Triathlon Challenge

The Challenge Barcelona Triathlon 2024 has experienced an exceptional edition

In the short distance, Belgian Jonathan Wayaffe was crowned winner in the men’s category with a time of 2:18:55, while German Caroline Pohle took victory in the women’s category, crossing the finish line in 2:37:36.

Simon Koblizek (00:15:20) and Irene Mena (00:21:48) have come away with the victory in the Aquathlon distance.

In the Olympic distance, Alexis Lhérieau and Gemma Frigola crossed the finish line first with times of 01:38.01 and 01:49:39, respectively.

In the Sprint distance, the winners were Mathias Perret, with a time of 00:56:37, and Alizée Kervevan, who finished the race in 01:03:26.

Finally, in the Junior Challenge distance, Alberto Sebastiano and Ariadna Ivars were the fastest, completing the test in 00:06:45 and 00:07:14, respectively.
